Youth Resilience: A Mental Health Journey

Youth Resilience: A Mental Health Journey

From March 21st to 28th, 2025, Bright hosted the Erasmus+ training course “Youth Resilience: A Mental Health Journey” in Tetovo 1. The project gathered 37 youth practitioners for a week of learning, reflection, and connection around the topic of mental health, resilience and emotional wellbeing. Through creative non-formal methods like the Human Library, Dream Mapping, presentations, analysing various tools and methods, group work, and experiential learning workshops, participants explored how to better support young people in their communities. The program focused on emotional awareness, stress management, resilience- building, and peer support, equipping youth practitioners with new competrnces, tools and methods they can apply locally. Beyond the sessions, the group also connected with nature and local culture by visiting the Lešok Monastery, Tearce Youth Center, a nearby waterfall, and hiking through a forest trail, blending learning with movement and mindfulness. Participants came from Germany, North Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Sweden, Bulgaria, Greece, and Türkiye, creating a diverse and inspiring learning environment. The project is managed by Lucky Punch Jugendhilfe and co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme, empowering youth practitioners to become resilient mental health supporters in their communities.
