Zero Waste in North Macedonia

With low awareness around recycling and waste management, a large portion of valuable materials in North Macedonia ends up in landfills, harming the environment. Through this project, we aim to raise awareness and promote the “Zero Waste” concept – a sustainable approach successfully implemented in over 308 municipalities across Europe.

Our campaign includes:

• Three workshops for youth, led by experts.
• Educational web materials on proper recycling methods.
• QR code stickers on containers throughout Skopje.
• Video content on waste management.

Youth activists will lead this change, promoting awareness and educating society on recycling practices.
