Our leadership team brings together expertise from business, law, education, media, and youth work to drive Bright’s vision of empowering young people and communities toward sustainable development.
Bright also counts on a large network of local volunteers and members who actively support our activities, as well as a wide range of external experts engaged depending on the topic and field of work.

Petko Gjorgjevski– President of Bright
With over 30 years of managerial experience, including 20 years as General Director of “Teteks Knitting,” Petko is a strong leader dedicated to teamwork and social responsibility. He also served as President of FC Teteks, leading the club from the second to the first league, and has guided numerous youth and community initiatives.

Martina Veljanoska – Project Coordinator & Legal Support
Martina holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the American College University Skopje. She began her career in the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, then worked as a lawyer at the Josifovski Law Office. Later, she founded her own legal practice as an entrepreneurial lawyer. Her expertise includes public procurement, labour and business law, and minority rights. At Bright, she coordinates projects and ensures legal compliance and integrity in all operations.

Lazar Gjorgjevski– Operational Manager & Financial Coordinator
Lazar holds degrees in Business, Economics, and Marketing. He manages Bright’s operations, finances, and international projects, ensuring effective implementation, transparency, and smooth coordination across all activities and partnerships.

Zarko Ilijevski– Media & Communications Manager
Zarko is a former cameraman and editor at regional Radio & TV “KISS.” At Bright, he manages all media, communication, and dissemination activities, creating powerful storytelling content that promotes Bright’s impact and visibility.

Hristina Vidojevska– Program Manager
Hristina is an MA student in Economics and a former member of the National University Accreditation Board. She combines her expertise in economics, entrepreneurship, and education to develop new projects that empower young people through non-formal learning, innovation, and leadership programs.

Gjorgi Tasev– Strategic Partnerships & Organizational Development Coordinator
Gjorgi is a Public Policy and Development Specialist with strong experience in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and project management. He has served as Youth Adviser to the Prime Minister of North Macedonia and has participated in many international leadership programs, including the Rising Public Leaders Programme at the Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University. He also holds fellowships from ACYPL (2024) and the Berghs School of Communication. At Bright, he leads strategic partnerships, communication, and organizational development, strengthening Bright’s cooperation and visibility across Europe.

Emilija Velichkova– High Schools Cooperation Coordinator
With 19 years of dedication to the Macedonian language, Emilija is a full-time professor at the “Josip Broz Tito” Gymnasium in Skopje, whose artistic spirit comes to life in creating textbooks, manuals, and enchanting theatrical performances. She inspires students through media clubs and school newspapers, making the projects full of creativity, while her presence at trainings and conferences both at home and abroad enriches her experience and knowledge, enabling her to connect more effectively with new generations.

Toni Dimovski– Volunteers Coordinator
Toni holds a BA in Auto Mechanics and has years of experience as a volunteer. He supports Bright’s volunteering programs and local activities, helping young people develop confidence, responsibility, and teamwork skills through active participation.

Bashkim Ramadani – Intercultural Cooperation Coordinator
Bashkim is a teacher and acting director at the Municipality School Lirija in Gorno Jabolchiste, Municipality of Chaska. With a strong dedication to education and youth development, he has participated in numerous international trainings for youth workers and teachers. His mission is to share knowledge and open new opportunities for young people, especially those living in rural areas. Deeply inspired by the “One Society for All” approach, Bashkim actively promotes intercultural understanding and inclusive values in both his professional and personal life. Through his work, he contributes to building bridges between communities and encourages young people to learn, cooperate, and grow together.
