One exchange ends, but the journey continues…
From 24–31 May 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming students and teachers from the primary schools of Cisna and Skoroszyce, Poland, to North Macedonia, where they met for the first time with their peers from Primary School “Andreja Saveski Kjikjish” in Tetovo. ✨
Although this was the first meeting between these schools, it represents another successful chapter in the long-standing cooperation between our communities and educational institutions from Poland and North Macedonia. ❤️
During the week, classrooms became spaces for intercultural learning and friendship. Students presented their countries, traditions, and daily lives, practiced both Macedonian and Polish language skills, took part in creative workshops for making decorative candles, explored the art of linocut printing, and enjoyed various sports activities together. 🎨🕯️⚽📚
Beyond the school walls, the adventure continued. The group discovered the stunning nature of Matka Canyon, explored the vibrant streets of Skopje, wandered through the historic Old Bazaar, and enjoyed the atmosphere of Macedonia Square. They also visited Ohrid, where a boat trip on the lake turned into a memorable TikTok trend competition filled with creativity and laughter. 🚤📱😄
A special cultural experience awaited them in Tearce, where the Kiril Pejcinovich traditional dance ensemble introduced them to Macedonian folklore, while a visit to the Lesok Monastery offered a glimpse into the rich history and heritage of the region. 💃🎶⛪
Most importantly, this week was about people. New friendships were created, cultures were shared, and countless memories were made. Different languages and different backgrounds, but one common experience that brought everyone closer together. 🌍❤️
As this mobility comes to an end, we are excited that the story continues. Tomorrow, the next activity of our cooperation with schools from Poland begins, opening the door for new experiences, new friendships, and new memories to be created. ✨
